This ODI series was one of the most hyped-up series of the year. India and Australia are two power-house teams filled with amazing cricketers. Australia flexed its muscle first with a 10 wicket win. In this match, both Finch and Warner scored centuries and Virat Kohli came in at number 4. Australia looked like the far and away the better team. India then figured out the formula that works, K.L. Rahul at four, but that wasn’t all Rahul did, he also was behind the stumps. Rishab Pant got a concussion and Rahul was forced into keeping. I think if India puts some time into Rahul’s keeping, they made have not only found their perfect number four, but also M.S. Dhoni’s replacement. India dominated the next two matches and won the ODI series 2-1. Jasprit Bumrah was not India’s wicket-taking bowler, but rather the economic bowler that forced mistakes for other bowlers. I think Labushagne played well too. This series was filled with stars and India got to flex its muscle with the amounts of talent they have. We could see these two teams in the finals of many ICC Championships.
